Painting and Visit Sterling Memorial Library

I've been thinking a lot about which part of our campus I should draw, and finally decided on the relief in the front hall of the Humanities Quadrangle, where we usually have our classes. We see it every day, and it has become quite familiar to me. Here is a photo of the relief along with my drawing: 

After finishing my drawing, Carrie took us to the Sterling Memorial Library. Everything there was simply amazing! The library's interior resembles a grand cathedral with its high ceilings, intricate architectural details, and beautiful stained-glass windows.
